Wordpress responsive site - Jamaica Holiday Villa

Just completed and launched another responsive website - again using the Wordpress content management system.

Using a responsive design means that sites should automatically respond to the user’s behavior and environment based on screen size, platform and orientation. This is achieved via a mix of flexible grids and layouts, images and of course CSS media queries. I base every site now on the Twitter Bootstrap model and then convert it into a Worpress theme for small, brochure style sites. I've also undertaken a few projects with larger sites, changing templates and stylesheets to convert them from static desktop sites into fluid responsive works of art !

So as a visitor to your site switches from their iPad to a laptop, the site changes to accomodate the screen size of the device. This means we no longer have to design for each new gadget that appears on the market and makes future-proofing possible, even for the most basic of sites.

This project for a holiday rental in Jamaica, was an existing client, who recognising the changing ways customers were visiting his site (via a series of Google Analytics reports I provided) and decided it needed a refresh and for it to work on as many devices as possible.
