The best Spotlight portraits and casting shots for actors and presenters

Published on Tue Oct 8, 2013 by

If you're an actor, performer or presenter you will need regular professional Spotlight headshots for casting portfolios,both online and to email to agents and prospective employers as part of your showreel. Your portrait image could be the most important factor of the audition process, so use a professional like me and get the very best results at an affordable price.

Spotlight portraits need to be current and show you in your best light. The industry recommends updating your portrait every two years and of course if there has been any radical appearence changes, for example hair colour change, beards, hair cuts etc. it needs to be done straight away.

I will work with you to create a selection of headshots and promotional images that are perfect for your casting portfolios and use my experience to provide a varied selection of poses and styles. I have a mobile studio and don't charge any travelling expenses if you are in Merseyside. Each shoot typically takes an hour and you will be provided with a selection of images online, where you can pick six favourites which will be post-processed and cropped for final versions. I also include black and white versions. The delivery can be via CDR or online system, allowing you to invite others to view and use your images. These are provided at a high resolution, for traditional printing, for example comp cards and promo materials and also low res versions, ideal for online usage and emailing to people.

Most recent commission was from actor Peter ;

"Had a very satisfying photo shoot with David, punctual, proffessional and put me at ease straight away, I couldn't have asked for more and the results speak for themselves, excellent pictures! Will be calling again, thank you."

"I have employed David many times over the years, principally as a music conference and high profile event photographer. He is always easy to work with, has a strong sense of what style is needed for each project and brings back results on deadline. He is skilled, experienced and understands visual language and lighting. Additionally, David often helps secure additional PR and media coverage."
